Tina was beyond amazing at the work she did with her students. She had a way of connecting with people, maybe it was that incredible smile or the way she always saw the best in everyone. She brightened and improved so many lives through her work at Westminster High School. She created a myriad of employment opportunities and partnerships with local businesses. She held up a mirror and showed kids how to believe in themsleves. Her legacy will have impact for generations to come. I had the priveledge of being her supervisor for the last four years. She taught me more lessons than I can count about genuine connection and care, but more than that, she was my friend, and I miss her like crazy.

I miss hearing her voice and her beautiful smile. We would spend hours on the phone every week. sending me selfies and adorable videos and photos of her granddaughter, Charlotte and talk about how fast she is growing and what milestones she has achieved. Weekly updates about Taylor and Morgan and Lance. I miss not being able to share my day with her.  She had the best advice and if I was upset she would be upset with me. We would have so many laughs together because we were silly. I can’t believe I can’t call her to let her know that my braces are off. She would of been so excited. Share recipes and talk about our favorite sho…
